Most First Federal Certificates of Deposit (CDs) let you lock in a rate for a fixed period of time. We offer terms from six months to five years. Rates are based on current market conditions and are fixed for the term of your Certificate.

The Saver's Choice™ Certificate is a low minimum balance CD that offers a variable interest rate which is subject to change every quarter. With this account, savers can add to their CD, and withdraw funds before the maturity date if they need the money for college tuition, hospitalization , nursing home expenses, or the purchase of a home.

A Variable Rate CD is available with a term of 30 months. With the Variable Rate CD, the term of your investment is fixed, but the rate has the potential to adjust according to the market.
